Some of the best leaders out there are those that society often assumes are the quiety, introverted ones. But perhaps those are the ones who are truly listening, thinking deeply, creatively and with compassion to solve complex problems. Perhaps the "outgoing" ones that society often deems as "cool," "quick", "sharp" and therefore more often chosen as leaders, are not always thinking as deeply as quieter, intuitive people. There are strengths in both!

Omg SO MUCH!!!! Alicia made a whole map of my life and life goals once. I hate thinking about the future but she taught me to invest in myself. She taught me that sensitive and empathetic people make great leaders. I never found a manager or a leader I saw myself in before I met Alicia. She really changed the game for me. Now I teach all my mentees how to leverage your strengths instead of trying to be like the "loudest white man in the room." That's all because of Alicia.

My worth. Literally. Alicia's transparency around salary helped me more than double my income. I had no idea what I was missing out on until I heard her openly talk about compensation.

I learned from Alicia to be brave with my feelings. To be unrepentantly joyful or sad or whatever else, to live daily with a full heart, and to reach out for support, something i was not good at before I met her.
